The scary anti-smoking campaignHalloween maybe over, buy the new cigarette packs graphics are very scary. The federal government has a mix of corpses, lung disease and cancer patients pictures to put on the packs. The graphics are expected to take about half the space on the packs. They are part of the new anti-smoking campaign by the FDA.

Since 2009 the government are putting a lot of efforts to help people quit smoking and to prevent smoking among underage kids. However, there aren’t any big changes about the smoking habits, unless you count the use of e-cigarettes.

There are about 46 million Americans who smoke. Our government wants them to join the anti-smoking campaign, which in return will lover the money spend on smokers to keep them healthy. The FDA doesn’t know for sure if these scary tactic is going to be effective or not, but they are coming to the cigarette pack near you.
